Memorial Weekend

Our family photo turned out great-considering it was a spur of the moment one. It turned out so good the girl at the photo place didn't want to give me my 8x10 because she felt it was a professional photo and I didn't have a release form signed. I told her to give me the form and I'd sign the release as the photo came from my camera!! And of course there are some adorable photos of Jackson in the grass that I just had to make copies for everyone!

Tulip Festival 2009

Every year we must make the hour drive to the Tulip Festival in Orange City IA. I have been going for about 5 years now. It such a great way to kick off spring!! Everything is in bloom and looks so fresh. Ariana loves to watch the parade and of course go on the rides. This was Jackson's first year and he seemed to really enjoy all the excitment around him.

Spring 2009

Spring time in our yard!! The kids love to swing. The deer gallop through the front yard in the early morning and the gold finches love to eat all day long! The whole place is alive.

These two little sweethearts will wrap you around their little tiny fingers in seconds!! They may be twins but they are both unique in their own way! Kelsey is the go-getter and Kacee she is the calm and content one. I had my challenges trying to get them both in the photos at the same time but with some help from mommy & daddy we managed to get a lot of good ones!! Children are so much fun to photograph! I am so glad that I have many friends with children so I can keep on photographing all those precious little smiles!

Yummy Jackson had cereal for the first time!! He does awesome with it and I've only been hit with flying cereal once and that was only because he decided it would be fun to do raspberries while his mouth was full!!

Noah & Travis Frazee came for a visit one night and the boys were very interested in each other!! Of course Noah wanted everything that Jackson had and then would proceed to give it back after a full inspection. In the one photo it looks as if they are having quite the conversation. Noah and Jackson are 3 months apart in age.

Jackson still doesn't really like tummy time but he is getting better. Often times he will be fine as long as you lay beside him and keep him company!!

The day that everything became final!! March 10, 2009. Daddy, Ariana, Mommy, Jackson and the Judge. You have been our son since the moment we met you but now the state also recognizes that.
